I am still in Lanzarote. But, with only 5 days remaining for my training block out here. The weather is slightly frustrating me at the moment because after about 9 days of only sunshine and 20-25 degrees it has now turned a little for the worse. The temperature has stayed the same but there isa lot of rain at the moment. It has not affected training it just makes me abit miserable!

There is not too much else to say really because I have not actually done anything besides ride my bike. Err......let me think...... The flat we are renting is perfect and we have the nicest people as landlords and they help us out far too much! The only “touristy” thing I have done so far was last night. Tom, myself, and my friend from the Netherlands, Eric, and his girlfriend went out for dinner because it was their last night. We stayed at the dinner table for 5 hours, thanks mostly to a wonderful game called “rummiekah”. My spelling of that cannot be verified! I shall not write of the details, but it is a brilliant way to spend a few hours! So, with that and a couple litres of sangria between us we had a most enjoyable dinner!

After I am home I shall have a nice easy week. I may train Christmas day, but after last year’s unexpected rendezvous with a car, I might give it a miss! But that said, I shall enjoy the novelty of training in a Santa hat.
